Day 30 – A photograph of yourself today + three good things that have happened in the past.

Trust me, you don't want to see what I look like today. I woke up achy, with a runny nose, sore throat, basically just sick all over. Maybe I'll post a picture the next time I take time to actually get ready for the day. So onto 3 good things that have happened in the past, which by the way is a very broad topic.

1) Kevin (and everything and every experience that would fall under this category).
2) The invention of modern medicine (mostly DayQuil). Seriously has made today bearable.
3) My co-worker being willing to stay and cover my shift tonight even though that means he works 10 hours on New Year's Eve and doesn't get to leave until after midnight. Thanks a million!

Day 30 now complete (except for the picture from today)!! Which means I probably won't be nearly as consistent at blogging from now on.

Day 29 – Something you could never get tired of doing.

Pretty much any sort of game like sudoku (a new found love) or crossword puzzles (but only ones that don't really make me think too hard like the ones in People magazine).

Day 28 – Your favorite movie.

Hands down, best movie ever :)

Day 27 – A picture of you last year and now and how have you changed since then?

Last February is close enough to a year since it's the end of December.
Let's see...how have I changed? Well my hair is now a lot shorter, we no longer own the blue car behind us. We traded it in for a Chevy Malibu instead. I've been married over a year, finished another year of school, closer to graduating, etc. Not a whole lot more has changed though. I know, very exciting life.

Day 26 – A photo of somewhere you’ve been to.

I love Disney World. I went there my Junior year in High School. Hopefully our plans to go back there this summer will still happen. Fingers crossed :)

Day 25 – What’s in your purse?

I usually don't have anything in my purse, but when I do it's usually only when I go to church. Then so called purse would contain scriptures, maybe some lip gloss/chap stick, cell phone, sometimes a check book (because we always forget to pay tithing), and that's pretty much it. Exciting, I know.

Day 24 – A photo of something that means a lot to you.

Instead of putting picture of family members on every one of these types of posts, (something that makes me happy/something that's important to me, etc.) I am picking other things that mean a lot.

Food means a lot because it keeps me alive :)

Day 23 – 15 facts about you.

1)I laugh at pretty much anything.
2) I'm super random.
3) I'm also super loud.
4) I'm not creative what-so-ever.
5) I like attention, but I'll act like I don't.
6) I hate being tickled.
7) I always talk with my hands.
8) I like cute shoes but rarely will wear them.
9) I don't have a favorite color.
10) I can't roll my R's no matter how hard I try.
11) Finding Nemo is my favorite movie.
12) I've ridden an elephant.
13) I have over 30 stuffed animals from when I was growing up.
14) I think I will be sick for church tomorrow.
15) This was the hardest blog I've ever written.

Day 22 – A letter to someone who has hurt you recently.

Um...I'm pretty sure that's not the best thing to put out into cyberworld, so I'm gonna pass on that one. Sorry if you were looking for a juicy post...

Day 21 – A photo of something that makes you happy.

So a little late but better late than never.
Christmas, chocolate, and puppies :)

Just some random person's Christmas tree from Google.

Mint m&m's :)

So precious!

Day 20 – The meaning behind your blog name.

Kevin and I both love Fruit Smiles (the original kind-not the tropical). We seriously get a new box every time we go to wal-mart. Anyway, play on words from Forrest Gump resulted in "Life is like a Box of Fruit Smiles :)"
Hence the name. And there you have it.

Day 19 – Another picture of yourself.

This was when we had first moved into our apartment and I was showing my old roommates our new toaster oven. Jill (like always) took a picture. I just think it's a funny picture :)
This toaster oven has definitely been put to good use for corn dogs, pizza bites, toast, bagels, and pretty much any other food item that can be toasted quickly. We love it!

P.S. I realized I wear that yellow shirt A LOT!! But I just love it so much!

Day 18 – Something you crave a lot.

Since I'll eat almost anything, I don't really crave much. I always like fruit smiles/gushers/ any other fruit snack so I guess that could be something I crave. Recently I've been wanting homemade meals from my mom when we get home on Thursday...wink wink nudge nudge mama :)

Day 17 – A photo of you and your family.

Sorry there was no post yesterday...I worked for 14 hours instead. Splendid way to spend the day.

Since Kevin is pretty much my family now (and I don't really have any pictures of the both of us with either my side of the family or his side of the family) you just get another picture of the two of us :)

This was when we first started dating almost 2 years ago.

Day 16 – Your celebrity crush

Ryan Reynolds...yes PLEASE!!!

Beautiful, Gorgeous, Hot,etc. (see above pictures)
 Hilarious (see "The Proposal")
And it doesn't hurt his case that he's newly single ;) even though I'm not haha
All around great.

Day 15 – Something you don’t leave the house without.

Usually I remember my phone and don't leave without it. There's not really any item that I never leave without (besides clothes of course) mostly because I'm so forgetful but I would say my phone is the one item that I do remember most often.

Wednesday, December 15, 2010

Day 14 – A TV show you’re currently addicted to.

Let's see...Keeping up with the Kardashians (when it's new-I just love how dysfunctional their family is), 16 and pregnant (or Teen Mom), or Criminal Minds (on Netflix). Take your pick. I know, quality shows, right? So judge me :)
I'm sure there will be more to become addicted to now that school is over for 3 weeks. Or maybe I'll just use those 3 weeks to get caught up on those shows since I'll have time. We'll see.

Day 13 – Your favorite musician and why?

Um... I don't really have one. Pretty much anything that's not screamo or crappy sounding rap I can handle. Those two are pretty much just a waste of sound. That's all.

Leesa's Work Party

This is what we got for White Elephant gifts at Leesa's Work Party.

Day 11 – What’s in your makeup bag?

Let's see...my pink square hairbrush, sometimes my deoderant (unless it's on the bathroom counter), toothpaste (again only sometimes), triple antibiotic ointment (not quite sure why that's there), floss (I need to be better at using that), hair clip, multiple shades of eye shadow and applicators, eyeliner (which I need to replace because it's pretty much all used up), concealer, a penny (no idea why), foundation, blush brush (which I use for eye shadow more often than blush since I don't own any), mascara, my retainer and case, a random earring, a paper clip, and plastic gloves to put on my hands for when I shower because I got quite a deep cut on my thumb at work and I'm not supposed to take off the bandages for a few days.
But the most important thing I found in my make up bag was a clue that I definitely need to clean it out. There was lots of stuff that should not find a home in a make up bag. Maybe that can go on the to-do list for tomorrow. Maybe...

Day 10 – A photo of your favorite place to eat

That's a tough one. Mostly because I really enjoy eating and will pretty much eat anything.

I'm so lame that I googled "list of restaurants" haha so ridiculous that I couldn't pick my own favorite without help from google. I really like Claim Jumper-if you haven't tried it you HAVE to! They serve the biggest portions of food ever. But the best food I've ever had that I can remember is this little hole-in-the-wall pizza place in Anaheim called Luis Pizza, Subs, and Salads. We have this thing where anytime we're in a new state that we haven't visited together before, we have to find a pizza place to eat at. So glad we found this one. Anytime we go to Disneyland again, this will for sure be on our list of events. However, there is no picture anywhere on the internet, only a virtual tour which makes it look a lot nicer than it really is. But no joke, the best pizza ever.

Anyway, if you want to see a picture go here.

Day 9 – A photo of the item you last purchased

Tonight I purchased...

Wait for it...

Wait for it...

Silly Putty and a New and Improved SnoFling!!!

Basically a snowball thrower. The description is "Make safer snowballs faster. Throw them further. Keep your hands warm and dry. Use as a distress or signal horn". The horn part is crap-I tried it and it doesn't work. Ok nevermind I tried it again just now and it definitely works. Probably not the best thing to find out at 12:45 in the morning. Oh well!

I also bought bananas during the same purchase, but that's just not interesting. The silly putty and the snoball maker are white elephant gift for my work party tomorrow. And the bananas are to dip in a chocolate fountain at said party. I'm pretty excited about it.

Since I can't find our camera chord to plug into my computer and the camera only has an XD card which stupidly doesn't fit in pretty much any computer ever made, the pictures will have to come later.

Day 8 – A song to match your mood.

So I got a little behind, so I'm playing catch up tonight :)

I couldn't really find a song to match my mood, so I just picked one that I like.

We went to the forgotten carol the other week and I really liked this song. So beautiful. I'm not sure why it starts with "Last Christmas I gave you my Heart", but 0:27 the real song starts, so either wait for it to get to that point or just skip ahead. It's told from the perspective of the character of Sarah.

Day 7 – Your dream wedding

I'd like to think the one I had was pretty great. The only thing I would change however would be to have my Grandma there for the sealing as well. She could only make it to the reception, which was great in and of itself. But other than that, it was a great day filled with love, family, and memories. Not to mention the start of forever with the love of my life :)

No turning back now!

Right as we came out of the temple.

This is a cute picture of him :)

And I just really like this one.

Day 6 – A photo of an animal you’d love to keep as a pet

I don't know why we were looking at pets for adoption one day, but we found the most precious puppy named Goldie. Seriously the cutest thing I've ever seen. Anyway in trying to find a picture of her again for this blog, I couldn't find her which means she was adopted by someone else. Yay for Goldie, boo for me :(
Anyway, since the original Goldie belongs to someone else now, I found another picture of a Golden Retriever similar to the one I want. Even though we won't have a dog (especially one that big) until Kevin builds me a nice, big house, he's already given in to the fact that we'll have one. This is what our puppy will look like eventually.

Her name will be Goldie and I will love her :)

P.S. Don't you just LOVE her smile?!?! I sure do!

Day 5 – A photo of yourself two years ago

This is my roommate, Natasha, and I at the end of the Fall 2008 semester. I'm not sure quite sure how long it had been since we had shaved, but we both needed to before going to a dance so we decided to time manage and just get it done at the same time.

Day 4 – Your favorite photograph of your best friend

I have a few so I decided to share them all :)

He made the best face ever haha
In this one, he is trying to hula hoop in Toys-R-Us. Trying is the key word. It was pretty entertaining.
This is from his 22nd birthday. The balloon said "Happy Birthday Princess" and he was a little too excited about it :) I got the balloon at the dollar store and just had to buy it.

So glad he's my best friend.

Day 3 – Your idea of the perfect first date

Ok so this may seem lame, but the first date that Kevin and I went on probably was the best one I had ever been on. He didn't even actually ask me, either. His best friend who dated my roommate actually mentioned something about a double date before Kevin had ever said anything. So I text him and said something to the effect of "what if I have plans on Tuesday because I didn't know I was going on a date?" He responded back with "do you? oh well". And that was pretty much the way he asked. I like to think he was just nervous ;) haha yeah, right. Anyway, I got to ride down to Idaho Falls with Tanae (my roommate), and Steve (Kevin's best friend) to meet Kevin at Red Robin (yum) and he drove up from Blackfoot because he was off track that semester. Luckily the ride down wasn't too awkward because I was definitely the third wheel.

Dinner was so good, the boys made fun of us because we were both too young to eat at the bar so we HAD to sit at a regular table. Poor them. (I have since asked Kevin multiple times if we can eat at the bar and he never says yes).

Then we went and walked around Toys-R-Us and played with all the random stuff that's there. Kevin and I actually did that again just the other week. It was just as much fun as the first time we did.
This is when we went bowling :)
Then we went skittle bowling. If you don't know what that is it's where you come up with certain ways of bowling (laying down on your stomach, wheel barrow style with your partner, hopping on one foot, spinning around 3 times before releasing the ball, etc.) and you assign each one to a specific color of skittle. Whichever color skittle you pull our of the box, you have to perform that task while you bowl. So much fun. Especially if you have the right people. While bowling, he put his arm around me, I got butterflies and it was the best :)
Then we just sat in his car and talked for over an hour until we had to go our separate ways. I always hated that.
We saw each other twice the next week, went to Utah for conference the next weekend where he kissed me for the first time :)  The next weekend we said I love you (well he said it, I said me too haha) At least I didn't just say thanks. A week after that we decided we wanted to get married, and 2 weeks after that, he surprised my by flying out to Washington and proposing, and 4 months later we were married :)
So that great first date led to the typical Mormon relationship, but it was the best relationship and I wouldn't have it any other way :)

Day 2-A photo of something you ate today.

That's kind of ironic because if I've already eaten it today, why would anyone want to see a picture? A better challenge would be "a picture of something I didn't eat today".

My goodness, what DIDN"T I eat today?!? I ate a ton of junk food and chips to keep me awake all night. I stayed awake to make sure that Kevin stayed awake and finished his paper (which he did).

Anyway, back to food. I am too lazy to find the camera so you get a google image-not that I would be able to find a semi clean area in my apartment to take the picture at anyway. I seriously cannot wait for school to be done so I can actually have some time to clean my home and not feel like such a slob.

Ok, again, back to food! In food science today we did our final projects where we had to make up an experiment and perform it. At least 1/3 of the class decided to do some sort of experiment on chocolate chip cookies in one way or another, myself included. So I've eaten quite a few cookies today and I am currently enjoying my mom's recipe of chocolate chip cookies. And now I want milk...and I don't even like milk. It truly is a wonder how I've never broken a bone in my life when you think about how little amount of milk I have consumed in my lifetime. Wow, when I am tired I ramble!

So this was the reason behind this whole random post. A cookie. I ate a lot of cookies today. The End.

30 Days of Blogging

Since it's been like 30 days since I last wrote a blog, I am going to write a blog for the next 30 days straight...hopefully.  Here's the list! I debated whether I should start tonight or tomorrow, but I figured since I've already started one tonight, I might as well just finish. So here goes. Thanks to my old roomie Bree for the 30 day list.

Day 1 – A photo of yourself and a description of how your day was.
Day 2 – A photo of something you ate today.
Day 3 – Your idea of the perfect first date.
Day 4 – Your favorite photograph of your best friend.
Day 5 – A photo of yourself two years ago.
Day 6 – A photo of an animal you’d love to keep as a pet.
Day 7 – Your dream wedding.
Day 8 – A song to match your mood.
Day 9 – A photo of the item you last purchased.
Day 10 – A photo of your favorite place to eat.
Day 11 – What’s in your makeup bag?
Day 12 – A photograph of the town you live in.
Day 13 – Your favorite musician and why?
Day 14 – A TV show you’re currently addicted to.
Day 15 – Something you don’t leave the house without.
Day 16 – Your celebrity crush.
Day 17 – A photo of you and your family.
Day 18 – Something you crave a lot.
Day 19 – Another picture of yourself.
Day 20 – The meaning behind your blog name.
Day 21 – A photo of something that makes you happy.

Day 28 – Your favorite movie.
Day 29 – Something you could never get tired of doing.
Day 30 – A photograph of yourself today + three good things that have happened in the past

So day 1...A photo of yourself and a description of how your day was.
Since I realized i have less than 4 pictures of myself, none of which are recently taken, here's a really awkward picture of me at the Jelly Belly Factory when we were in California in August.

Today was pretty good. It started at about 7:25 when my back up alarm went off for Kevin to wake up (I set one for some mornings in case he doesn't wake up when his. I hadn't set one in at least a week, but I did last night and it was a good thing because he needed it. Especially since we've been up to at least 2 AM the past few nights working on final projects, papers, etc. He's got a 15 page research paper due tomorrow that he's been trying to get done. Anyway, I went back to sleep for about an hour while he was at class. Then I got up for good at about 9:20ish or so. Talked to my mom, called the doctor, then went to work from 12-8. Work was good and I made good tips :) Well, good compared to usual. I'm glad I like my job (most days) and they like me. It's nice to know I have somewhat of job security in this college town where dozens of new people are hired every new semester and overturn is so high. Anyway, I got home around 8 and Kevin went to take a Calculus test. Then he'll come back and stay up probably all night finishing his paper and I'll be up late probably as well, hopefully not too late though. So here's to late night #3 this week. Cheers!

This is my friend Adrian :)

This post has been a long time coming. Seriously, like 2 months ago I told her I would write a blog about her.
We met at Jimmy John's (she is my co-worker). I used to think she hated me, but now that I actually know her, I realized she really doesn't! yay! Anyway, here is a bit about Adrian!

1) Whenever I ask her a question, she usually gives the same look as she's doing in the above picture and is silent. Then I tell her to knock off the attitude :)

2) She is a vegetarian (because of blood dolphins...but she HATES when I say that is the reason).

3) We are going on a trip to Florida. Eventually...maybe...ok it probably won't ever happen, but still. She took a road trip to Florida and didn't even go to Disney World!! Who does that!?!? So I told her she could come next summer because Kevin's family is already planning a trip for my sister-in-law's graduation. I told her she could stuff herself in one of my checked bags :)

4) We like to make fun of people i.e. "Brendan the business coach" especially when he says "squeeky cheese is good cheese". And various people who come through the drive through with high pitched annoying voices (especially when they say "um" 378478 times when ordering). And anybody else that annoys us on any given day, especially those with bad hygiene...gross!)

5) She rocks at guessing who famous people are just from a profile shot.

6) She is OBSESSED with Muse and Coldplay...and I don't use that term lightly at all.

7) If you say anything negative about hurting cats, she'll hate you forever...or at least until the next day.

8) She likes to hoard my extra uniform in her car for weeks at a time.

9) She is madly in love with the man who lives in Aspen Village apt. 310 and I very possibly ruined her chances at a happily every after.

Anyway, there you go Adrian!! Hope you enjoyed the long anticipated blog post about yourself!!

Spoiled Christmas Presents and countdowns

Kevin and I are officially the worst secret keepers ever. Don't get me wrong, not being good at keeping secrets definitely has its pros, but with those pros comes cons. He kept asking for one specific thing (I'm not going to say what it is because it's pretty pricey and for the most part, I just don't want to put it out there for everyone to know yet) and has had his heart set on it for weeks if not months now. I would constantly catch him comparing prices/styles and he made sure I knew that is what he wanted. Anyway, I told him one day to not get his hopes up because I probably wasn't going to get it for him, even though I had always planned on getting it anyway. His face looked so sad and he got very quiet and said "Don't say those things." He looked absolutely devastated. It was so sad. Eventually, he figured it out and I had kind of already figured out what he is planning on getting me so he let me choose the color I want. So to sum that all up, we suck at keeping secrets. At least I already have a New Year's resolution: be better at keeping secrets and hiding things from my husband haha...just kidding!! But I'm actually not going to give any sort of hint next year. Totally spoils the surprise.

AND!!! Only 44 more wake-ups until I'm HOME :) I am beyond ready and very much excited!

This was one of the few pictures we took on our first anniversary back in August. We were laying on the grass in the field outside our apartment watching the sunset. I'm sure Kevin said something funny and had impeccable timing to get this shot at the perfect second. Love him.

Corn Maze Fun

Last Monday Kevin and I met his family at the corn maze in Shelley. We decided to go through the first maze and find all the clues. It was set up as an FSI (farm scene investigation) haha! It was like a clue game but you had to run around the maze and find the spots where there were little stands with pictures of a location, animal, and a weapon. You had to put a whole punch through the corresponding picture of each of those. When you found all 9 stands, you took it to the ticket booth and you were rewarded with a...STICKER!!! I definitely thought it would be at least candy or something, but oh well. Right at the beginning, somehow we split up into teams of 2. Kevin and his dad, me and his mom, and his two sisters, so 3 teams in all

Kevin seems to think he has a better sense of direction than me, and let's face it, that's completely true in most situations. Except in a corn maze. That's right, the girls totally dominated! And yes, we were quite excited about it.

Here is a picture of us with our WINNING TICKET!!

After, we decided to ride on the little train thingy. Not sure exactly what you would call it. It was fun, but made me a little sick at some times since there really  wans't any stability to the seats. And the seats were super uncomfortable to begin with anyway.

And here is a picture of us being cute :)

We finished the night with chocolate milk and donuts. Such a good ending to a fun night.

P.S. The flash on our camera is super bright so we look washed out in all of these pictures, but that's OK.

Blah morning

Technically I should be at church right now, but these are the excuses I've used to convince myself it's OK that I'm not there.

1)Kevin worked from 4-12 this morning and is sleeping right now.
2)Wardrobe malfunction-took way too much time to find something that I wanted to wear that wasn't either dirty, wrinkly, or too small or all 3, so I gave up trying.
3)I didn't get out of the shower until 12:30 and church starts at 1.
4)I didn't want to show up 30 minutes late to Relief Society.
5)I do not want to go to Sunday school by myself because we usually go to a Marriage and Family Relations class. I am not about to show up single to that.
6)If Kevin wakes up in time for Sacrament meeting, we'll probably go to that, even though I have plenty of time to get ready to go by myself even if he doesn't wake up. And I really should go to at least that hour of church since I'm being lazy having a pity party for myself.

Drum roll please...

We officially bought our tickets to go to Washington for Christmas :) We will get there around 10 AM on Thursday the 23rd and leave the afternoon of the 29th. We think a week is a good amount of time to be home. Unfortunately, we have to get back for work and school...boo :( The last time we were in Washington was for my grandma's funeral, which was the weekend after Thanksgiving. So it will be over a year by the time Christmas comes since I have seen any of my family members except for my mom and Amie who came to visit us in August. But I haven't seen Thomas, Kelly, my dad, or Kelli since last December. That is easily the longest time I've gone without seeing them (well except Thomas when he was on his mission).

So I definitely want to see anyone and everyone that will be in Puyallup/around the area during the week of Christmas this year!

New Toy

Kevin and I have been looking at new computers to buy for quite a while now. Mine died forever ago (no more Toshiba's-lesson learned) but we really haven't found a great deal on one that we both liked. Since we're on different tracks for school, Fall semester is the only time we're in school at the same time throughout the entire year and only one computer (his) hasn't really been an issue until just a few days ago. We both needed to use the computer the same morning before our classes. We figured it out but it was a bit stressful when we realized we both needed it at the same time. You would think I would have been more productive the night before while he was at work and I had plenty of time to do my assignment since I only have 7 credits this semester (1 of which is just my internship. I got lucky enough to be able to keep my current job for my internship because it's a food establishment and fits into the classes I've already taken and I'm currently taking). Anyway, back to the computer fiasco. We went down to Idaho Falls on Wednesday evening to deposit our pay checks and decided to stop by Best Buy just to compare brands, styles, etc again. We found an Asus which we liked a lot, but it wasn't on sale anymore like it was last week....bummer. I had never even heard of Asus before a few months ago when we started looking at computers. Kevin's sister Amanda got one and she works at Best Buy, so we figured it was a quality brand. One of the salesmen told us that Asus makes a lot of the internal parts for other companies, but they just recently started to put the complete package together themselves. We figured if we were going to spend the money on a non-sale price of an Asus, we'd rather spend a bit more on a Sony. We got online to compare different computers on their website. We found 2 Sony Vaios (one black and one white). They were the exact same in almost every way. The black one was a bit better in one way which I would have no idea how to explain (I don't understand computer talk whatsoever). However the white version was $50 more than the black one. However, when you changed the color preference of the black one to white, it jumped up $50 as well. The same for changing the white one to black (it dropped the price by $50). Sneaky Sony. We decided to get the original black one which was cheaper online than the one they had in the store. They gave us the online price for the instore computer. Also, we decided to get the accidental coverage on it which includes any damage (except full water submersion-apparently some idiots like to type while they're in the bathtub) for 2 years! So anytime within two years, anything goes with it, or I break it in anyway (which, let's face it, would be a miracle if it didn't happen), I get a brand new computer for FREE!!!
So, we are now the proud owners of a brand new Sony Vaio and we LOVE IT!!!

Hope you all followed that story. I know, it was long and sporadic :)

This is little Sony.

Patience is a virtue

I used to despise the beep the microwave makes when it counts down to zero. Now, I don't really mind it because our microwave will flash a  nice little message across the screen if I am patient enough to wait. After that awful sound, "Enjoy Your Meal" will take the place of where the countdown once was. I rather like that nice message. The only thing is, I have to be patient enough to wait until that awful beep is done making the most obnoxious sound. Oh well...it's worth it.

This is our very polite microwave :)

Christmas presents and burnt out light bulbs

Kevin always tells me that he never knows what to get me for my birthday, Christmas, etc. I think he should not complain about this fact because in reality, I just don't care. I think that should be viewed as a blessing :) If I really want something, I'll tell him.
That is what happened yesterday. I found out that "The Forgotten Carols" will be playing in Idaho Falls the last week in November. I guess it's a little early for a Christmas present, but I told him that's what I want. Plus, we're planning on going to Washington for Christmas, so that's present enough since it will have been over a year since we were last there. I saw the play in high school. It was put on by a local theater group I believe. It was good, but I can't imagine how much better it will be watching professionals act out such a great story. I remember as a kid reading it as a family around Christmas time. It's such a beautiful story and I can't wait to go see it live!
So we'll see if Kevin remembers to get tickets before they sell out...fingers crossed!!

In other news, today I went into our bathroom and turned on the light. It flickered and rattled a bit, so I turned it off. Then I tried to turn it back on. That was a no-go. So we went to Wal-mart tonight to get a replacement bulb. Kevin went to replace it and realized the new bulb is about 1/2 the size of the original bulb. It fits in the spot, but now we can see in to light fixture where there is lots of dust and whatever else. Eventually I'll get around to dusting it out. Eventually...

Déjà vu

So it seems this Fall sickness will be a yearly thing. This is the second year in a row that Kevin has gotten sick and then just as he is getting better, I get it. Yay. Runny nose and coughing are no fun especially during school and work. Oh well, if that's the worse part of a yearly sickness, I think it'll be ok.

On the plus side, Rexburg has been absolutely gorgeous these past few days. The temperature has been in the mid to upper 70s. Loving it! Right now it's 79 degrees and tomorrows high is 83 degrees and sunny :) Maybe I'll try doing my homework outside. Hopefully that will make me feel healthier...we'll see :)

Here Goes Nothing

Since I have always been terrible at journal writing, this should be an interesting endeavor. Even though I've never been good at writing down anything or everything, I have a knack for "bloggin stalkin" as Kevin so lovingly calls it. And in my opinion it's only fair to let others stalk us from the comfort of their own couch as well! So enjoy! Our life is anything but boring, so hopefully we (or probably just I) will find the time to at least get little tidbits about our life on here for you all to read.
